The Torpedo Factory Art Center’s 50th Anniversary

In the role of Art Commissioner for The City of Alexandria, Smith was honored to be invited to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Torpedo Factory. Moreover, it was a pleasure to celebrate former Art League President and Torpedo Factory founder, Marian Van Landingham. Her inspiring underdog story of founding the Torpedo Factory left everyone in attendance motivated and determined to protect artists and culture in our city.
